End of Life and Aftercare
We are here to discuss options and assist in every way we can during this difficult time.
End of Life Services
Deciding on euthanasia for a beloved pet and companion is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner has to make. Sometimes a consultation with your veterinarian can be very helpful. We can use a variety of methods to help determine whether your pet is in pain, suffering, and address these needs to improve quality of life, or to assist you in your decision to say goodbye to your pet. As pet owners ourselves we have all been through this experience and understand the conflicting emotions involved. We believe that it is important to support you through all the stages of your pet’s life. Our hospital is equipped with a comfort room to allow you and your pet privacy in a peaceful and quiet environment. Our respectful staff will make every effort to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your pet. We are members of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care.
Afterlife
Our partners at Gateway Pet Memorial Services offer both communal and private cremation services. At your request, we can facilitate the complete cremation arrangements for your pet.
